Sunday Reflections

I love the idea of a “Sunday well spent brings a week of content.”

As the last day of the week, Sunday’s are usually a day to rest, relax and reflect. My Sunday’s are looking a little different these days. For the first time in three years, I’m working on weekends but that’s not stopping me from reflecting and relaxing.

With that being said, here’s what’s been running through my mind this week:

“Anyone can find the dirt in someone. Be the one who finds the gold.”

This is something that I find so true. It’s very easy to find the faults and flaws in people and situations. We are so quick to put the blame on others when things don’t seem to go our way. But, if we took a minute to reflect, we wouldn’t be so judgemental. I believe that being judgemental takes one very important life skill away from most people – that skill is problem solving.

As a problem-solver, you dont have time to judge because you are looking for solutions. That’s the kind of person, I aim to be, the one who can make the best out of any situation.

I’ve had people make fun of my accent so many times. As an English as a Second Language kid , I used to and still mispronounce many words but that has not stopped me from pursuing a career in communications. I’ve forgotten the names and faces of people who made fun of me, but I will never forget those whom with so much love helped me pronounce words correctly and those who believe in my talent and continue to mentor me today. Those people are worth more than gold.

Sending you lots of love and no judgement at all 😘💛
