Enjoy a Rainy Day

It almost never rains in L.A.

But when it does, I immediately take it a sign from above to cancel all plans and stay home. I love listening to the sound of rain, it’s like cool background music for when you’re at home relaxing with a cup of coffee, and a good book or a feel good movie.

I love rainy days, they remind me of being in grade school, stuck indoors and doing arts and crafts, which is actually one of my to-go activities during a rainy day.

Here are some tips to help you appreciate rainy days, especially if you live in L.A, since this rarity only happens a few times a year,

-Arts & Crafts! Today, I painted 5 mason jars to add more color to my room. They turned out adorable, and my makeup brushes have a new home. IMG_8923

-Read A Book: Any book, I own so many books! Poetry, Beauty, Lifestyle, Autobiographies, the possibilities are endless.

-Nap: I love napping when it rains. I feel like the sound soothes my soul, since water is one of my favorite elements.

-Watch A Movie: I’m the person that likes to watch the same movie over and over again. One of my rainy day favorites is ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s,’ I sometimes feel like I was born in the wrong era, and dream of living in New York during the 60’s. I also binge watch the ‘Harry Potter’ or “Star Wars’ series.

-Binge on YouTube: I can spend countless hours on youtube. When it rains, I like to feel inspired, and check out different YouTube channels for inspiration. My favorite YouTuber is Yuya, she’s the cutest and most creative girl! If you speak Spanish you should definitely check her out (or even if you don’t,lol)!

“Somedays you have to create your own sunshine”- Idk who said it?
