Since recently relocating back to L.A, I’ve made it a point to spend as much time with my family. So this week, my hubby and I packed our overnight bags and made our way to Santa Clarita for a fun-filled time with our niece and nephew at Gilchrist Farms Pumpkin Patch.

The day couldn’t have been more perfect. Since we are just starting the transition to Autumn, the air feels very crisp in the morning but soon after the sun starts warming up the temperatures which made the evening appropriate for a fun photo session. (It’s always an appropriate time for pics, lol)
Gilchrist Farms is located at 30116 Bouquet Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91390 and is opened daily until 6pm throughout the season.

And not only do they have an abundance of pumpkins in every size…
and color variation…
They also have a potato sack slide (where my niece spent most of her time), affordable pony and tractor rides, a chicken coop, corn mazes, crafts and an adorable petting zoo.

Even though we live in sunny California and are blessed with endless sunshine, the Halloween decor gave the farm major mid-western harvest vibes! Also, the service and patience from the employees was exceptional.
I’m already looking forward to returning next year and hopefully turning the Pumpkin Patch visit into a yearly family tradition. There is honestly something so joyful about sharing the holidays with little ones.
Look out for my next blog post because I still have a few more fun Halloween treats to share.
