As some of you know, I won an amazing contest sponsored by Neutrogena and #WeAllGrow Latina a couple of weeks ago. Winning the contest gave me the opportunity to live the experience of a lifetime. Not only did I receive a full year of Neutrogena products, I also won an all-access pass to the #WeAllGrow Latina Summit in Long Beach, Ca (happy dance)! I had been dreaming of going to the #WeAllGrow Latina Summit since I found out about the organization early last year.
Besides the glam, one of the most rewarding outcomes was meeting so many wonderful and inspiring women. I was able to meet women in my industry, whom I’ve admired for year. It was so fun to meet fellow Peruvian and Primer Impacto host, Pamela Silva, the gorgeous Mexican actress Eiza Gonzales, and Latin TV host and entertainer, Alejandra Espinoza.
There were so many amazing classes and speeches throughout the conference, One of my favorite classes was Eric Cuestas’ Master Makeup Class. Cuesta did my makeup for the runway show which turned out phenomenal, so I was super excited for his class. He taught us some amazing tricks which I will be sharing on an upcoming post and video!
We got to meet Bertha, a young cancer survivor who alongside Alejandra Espinoza recognized St.Jude for all of their research and endless efforts to stop childhood cancer. Their mission won’t stop until childhood cancer is cured. Bertha is an amazing warrior and a great reminder that we can find strength even in the darkest hours. She had such an amazing glow to her, it was amazing being in her presence.
Thank you #WeAllGrow and Neutrogena for this amazing opportunity! I am completely humbled that I was chosen to live this incredible experience! I had the time of my life, made amazing connections and left the summit extremely inspired and thankful! I’m more than determined to continue my passions and give the world more positive energy no matter where I am in my life. Thank you #WeAllGrow for reminding me that we can make a difference everyday and that unidas (united) we can change the world.
Counting the days for next year’s event!
