The most wonderful time of the year is upon us. Time to cozy up, sip hot cocoa, and obviously eat as many sweets as possible. What better way to treat your (or your family’s) taste buds then with a loaf of delicious ooey-gooey Chocolate Chip Banana Bread.
This version is honestly the EASIEST recipe out there. It takes nearly an hour and it’s not super messy. (yay!)
Here’s what you need:
- 2 Large Eggs
- Trader Joe’s Banana Bread Mix
- 1 Stick of Soft Butter ( let it sit out for 40 minutes before baking)
- 1 Cup of Chocolate Chips
- 3/4 Water
- 1 Pound Loaf pan
- Medium-sized Mixing Bowl
- Whisk
Step one: Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix eggs, butter, and water for about a few minutes. The batter should feel smooth and free of chunks.
Step Two: Coat the loaf pan with butter (lots of butter, so the outside of the bread gets that tasty buttery flavor) then coat the pan with a light amount of flour, this helps the bread not stick to the pan.
Step Three: Use 1/2 a teaspoon of flour to coat 1 cup of chocolate chips in a ziplock back. This is supposed to help the chips not fall to the bottom of the loaf pan. Mix the chips in with the mix.
Step Four: Transfer the mix to the loaf pan, and bake for 40 minutes
Let the bread cool down for 10 minutes..
and enjoy…
Bring it on! I’m all about chocolate chips on everything! Just posted pumpkin muffins with chocolate chips not too long ago!
